Not since kernel 2.6.12.
i am using the new DeMudi Distribution 1.2.1 with
kernel
2.6.12-3-multimedia-k7.
_Certain_ distributions have been known to remove firmware loaders
from the kernel because closed source firmware is Evil(TM).
PlanetCCRMA should work.
