as documented, xmms-jack should automatically resample
a
stream if an MP3 file has a sampling rate different from
what jackit requests. On my system (SUSE 9.2 professional
w/ jack-0.98.1-5, xmms-jack-0.9-4 and xmms-1.2.10-56) this
appears to work only when the MP3 is 48k and jack runs at
44100, not the other way.
So, what about a bug report?

I once filed a feature request on the project page, and it has
been done in a very short time, thanks to the
maintainers :) .
