OK, that directory's not there. lsmod tells
me:

I'd installed have removed it?

Everything already installed
which makes me think that I just have to turn it on somehow.
Hi Joseph, I think mandrake has both OSS amd ALSA, and for some reason, in
your case has chosen OSS. You can try changin this by running "draksound"
as root. The alsa modules are those with the "snd-" prefix.
