Hi Joseph, I think mandrake has both OSS amd ALSA, and for some reason, in
your case has chosen OSS. You can try changin this by running "draksound"
as root. The alsa modules are those with the "snd-" prefix.
If that fails then you can rmmod the es1371 module and run modprobe
snd-es1371 + all the other modules for oss emulation which you know
about already.
