I have a powered USB2 hub here. When its power supply is connected, I get some hum or
noise. I don't know if that's a possibility here.
My old band's sound set up - 12-channel Firewire audio, compressor, amp, in a single
rolling cabinet - had a rackmount power conditioner that powered everything, including the
mixer. Maybe something like that would help?
