AVLinux does look very tasty. I'm happy with
Lenny for now, but as it
gets further and further out of date over the next year or two, I
might consider trying something different.

Apparently debian has now settled on a two year release cycle. Sounds
bad if you're used to ubuntu's 6 months, but in debian land this is
really something.
