Of course all bets are off if you load a closed
source
module. You should definitely use the nv driver.
the only disadvantage is that the nv driver only offers a
reduced color set on my geforce 2 go, so gradients really
look ugly.
I do not care about hardware speedup, and I only need 2D
objects, but the point mentioned above is a pity :( .
