I'm working on a gpl sound font kit, it just takes a long time to get all
the samples together.

Personally, I'd rather have one good instrument than lots of poor ones!
At the moment, Linux users with SB Live cards are told things like 'use
sfxload to load the soundfont from the Windows driver CD-ROM'. I'm sure we
can do better than that!
