Hello,
I'm no movie head, which is why I'm turning to this list. What would you
pick as some reference/quality film soundtracks produced in the last
decade or so?

What does that even mean? Are you looking for interesting background
music that adds mood to a scene, but isn't so complex that it's
distracting, or are you ins search of interesting and compelling music
that stands up even outside of being a movie score?
