I've been unable to use DAO with my IDE drive using XCDRoast. It may be
an XCDRoast thing, I'm not sure. If you could enlighten me I'd
appreciate it.

I always use cdrdao (and therefore DAO) to burn zero pregap audio CD's
(gotta love the command line), so your mail got me wondering. Is your
recommendation to use TAO an XCDRoast thing?
