Double-edged sword.
Due to this patching frenzy, there are numerous possibilities of
less-than-optimal software packages. Bugs will be difficult to troubleshoot
because the final product is not the same as upstream.
The developer of a software knows best. Even if he does not, he has the
right to determine how his software should be used, what should be patched,
what should be improved.
