Can you give us the version of jack? jackd --version This gave a familiar error. 18:42 linux-8c8n:~ > jackd --version jackd: symbol lookup error: jackd: undefined symbol: _jack_get_microseconds 18:43 linux-8c8n:~ > Acording to yast jack version: jack-0.109.2-0.pm.1 - Jack Audio Connection Kit It look like its the jack connection kit.(the right program) I seem to be able to choose between two different versions (in yast) 0.102.20-16 or the installed one, which should be newer: 0.109.2-0 when I checked independecies on the other version, it seems to have problems with hydrogen. (which I could ofcourse uninstall, and maby try reinstalling hydrogen later) I also installed jackdmp (could this be the problem ?) greetings Guus
