yeah, no worries! the only reason I mentioned ardour is because it
seems to be the only DAW for linux that can handle micro-editing of
sounds like this. the other tools either don't let you zoom in enough
or get all finnicky when you start throwing around regions in the
neighborhood of 100ms or less. you can also do this kind of editing
in audacity (though you don't get the ability to snap to tempo like
you do in ardour).
still, props on tackling this with csound. i'd encourage you to post
what you come up with, i'm quite interested in seeing how you code
this!
