Assumed the Envy24 chip might be broken, please phone me.
Multi-layer-boards and/or SMD needs some special attention.
I don't have that experiences, but a friend of me has the knowledge.
Btw. he calls me a coward, he claims that I should have his abilities
too :S ... he's mistaken ;).
PPPS: My favourite Linux tool regarding to similar issues is "hwinfo".
If ICE 1712 is shown there, I suspect the chip isn't borked.
