-r48000 -p256 = 10.7 ms and it still cause many
audible xruns...
Oh! I see.
This completely beats the point of buying such an expensive card.
For my purposes at least.
So I guess "pci-e card + Multiface 2" is what I should look for.

PS: JFTR I'm using linux-rt + rtirq only, there
are no shared IRQs, I
unbind some USB ports, unload unneeded modules, used different graphics,
no unneeded services are started, CPU frequency scaling is set to
performance and the sessions run on JWM or openbox. I used both
available PCIe slots for the card.
