My experience too.
Nice to see the maturity of Gnu/Linux, esp. with regards to drivers. I've
got a BestData USB modem that simply works in Linux, and I can't even get
it to install under Windows XP Pro. SP2, and believe me I've tried all the
tricks I know.

I'm not sure why, but just plugging the midisport 2x2 on my planetCCRMA
FC2 setup makes it work. No extracting firmware or anything....
