posted...but I found an app called ksnapshot on this Yoper distro. It may
just be a GUI for one of the apps already mentioned but it was simple to use
and worked like a trooper!
And for the record... I did not want to capture the whole screen if I could

When Russell wrote "entire screen" I
was thinking of the whole screen
includign root window and app windows. That's where import really
shines.
I read his message to say he *didn't* want the entire screen.
But he's been pretty quiet since posting the question :-)
