Just curious... rtpMIDI is an implementation of Apple's Core-MIDI
protocol, introduced with OSX 10.4. It's described in RFC 4695, then
corrected/replaced by RFC6295. Wikipedia has an article on it. There's also a Linux
codebase available. Search for the MIDIkit project on Google code
