thanks! it took a few takes, though - those licks always sound
deceptively simple when you hear them on the radio...turns out most of
those things are executed with two hands. I learned this by watching
Lynyrd Skynyrd's piano player do some of his great honky-tonk solos -
bastard was doing them with two hands, and I have been trying to do
them with one!!! :)
Also, that guitar sound is surprisingly realistic. You play it like real fingerpicking on
a Tele, so it totally works, even down to the whammy bar. Just perhaps a bit cleaner than
one would expect from a real guitar.
I did a short stint in a country/blues band that had one guitarist, so
I would cover acoustic and pedal steel (!) parts...lots of fun.
