Because they hurt my head. I keep meaning to get

There's an O'Riely one, isn't there? Anyone know if it's any good?
Quite honestly, the best way to get a grip on autotools is to
start with the configure.ac and Makefile.am files of an existing
project and hack them to match your project. Erik
