I'm not sure how it compares to the Axiom,
but I got an X-Board 25,
and I'm really happy with it. The mod wheel and pitch bend controls
feel very smooth and solid, with a nice "grippy" feel to them. The
keys also are very good quality, not cheesy flimsy plastic things. Oh
yeah, and there's channel aftertouch and a place for an expression
pedal.
Just my USD 0.02.
I considered those, but I was scared off by some negative user reviews
on the web ... sounded like some serious quality control problems. I
don't remember where I found them. YMMV of course.
