I don't have QJackCtl start JACK when starting up,
because my audio
device sometimes has a mind of its own and shows up as a different HW
device. Like Friday morning, it was HW:2. Friday night, it was HW:1.
Sometimes it's HW:0.
I know there are ways to get around this, but I don't know if there are
ways to get around the other audio device that I think is the root of
the problem. The laptop also has Intel audio hardware. Sometimes it
appears, sometimes it doesn't.
Does this help?
