Other than that it would be interesting to see what
kind of onboard sound the
HPs have (we all remember long intel-hda threads), even if You say You will
not need it.
I bought a Tascam US-122. Very quiet mic preamps with phantom, and
a hardware monitoring. Very nice for a laptop.
