opengl driver for linux. Unfortunately, you can't get discreet video
cards from Intel.
The Core 2 Duo is a great CPU too, low powered and fast.
Intel provides a great combo if you're looking for a completely
open-source platform with decent 3d acceleration.

Intel's Core 2 Duo is 64bit, faster than Opteron, and
equal in price, right?
its just that its going to be damn difficult (impossible?) to find an
AMD64 mobo that has Intel video onboard, and Intel doesnt make PCIx
videocards afaik.
I'm confused. Is Intel video desirable in any way?
