But I can give you a simple example of what is wrong.
I am right now on Xubuntu 12.04. So this is not 1975 or 1984 or even
1995. It is 2013.
Yet, when I ask - how do I make Xubuntu to autologin my user instead
of asking for a password every time, you know what I am told? I am
told to open a config file in a text editor, go to a particular line
and write in a certain value.
This is the reason Linux does not go mass market.
Louigi, here is one reason:

Note, that I don't care for that issue any longer, since
- I fixed it for myself, it's not an issue for me
- reported it upstream, they are now aware of the issue
I'm not interested in fighting for something I can fix myself, but it's
a bad habit to blame hardware vendors, when the truth is, that Linux
does cause issues.
However, everybody who wants that Linux goes mass market, must care
about this and other issues. I even wouldn't care if I would have to use
command line, but if Linux will go mass market, than the signs of the
times are important and those aren't transforming desktops environments
for desktop PCs into environments for tablet PCs or mobiles, but to take
care about environmentalism and other things.
I agree that we are not in 1975 or even 1995.
