There appears to be no such thing in my jackd. I'm using 0.116.1-4.
I can't
remember, when it has been introduced
but I think v0.116.x does work.
Have a look at the manpage, if the X option is mentioned.
No ALSA MIDI devices show up in JACK MIDI at all by default.
What do you mean with
"JACK MIDI" exactly?
Here, they show up in the jack-midi window of the qjackctl application.
