Nope, it can't be missing codecs because I
have 100%
success with
"gmplayer $URL" in a terminal. It's a buggy
interaction between the
browser and the plugin.
You can probably find out what the problem is if you
try "mplayer $URL" in terminal window. You should see
the error message.
