I tested it with fedora 22 and recognized there's something wrong with
the drum pad's play button.
That's why I do further investigations

About freezes, as long you don't provide any stack-trace its hard to
me to know what's going wrong. Of a running process you basically get
a stack-trace with gdb as following:
gdb --batch -p $(pidof gsequencer)
