IMO, it's not this approach that's
intrinsically confusing
- we just need shinier GUI tools to make it more intuitive
for newbs (and simpler for everyone)
one idea was that MIDI and even audio connections can be made
from within an application's interface, or at least if an
application had a button to invoke [qjackctl, qjackconnect,
aconnect, ...].
