This is a common problem with the current hdspm driver (both with MADI and
AES32). Apparently Florian Faber is planning on overhauling it as well as
work on some of the other RME drivers. He also plans on developing a user
space library for some of the common RME functionality. Very ambitious, but
he seems determined.
