if you really mean MMC here, then you're
making a mistake - MMC
doesn't offer way to ensure sync. MTC does.
I think they work together? MTC is the timeline, which I'd have to lay
down while recording, and MMC is the transport command stream, which would
be used during post, including 'Locate to [MTC value]' commands.
Am I understanding that much correctly?
