I wouldn't be surprised to see an open OS phone appear at the same
time as the OS is made open source, possibly a couple. It's about the
right time frame for getting a phone out.

In a nut shell, subject to regulatory approval, Symbian is to become
entirely owned by Nokia but then Symbian OS is to become open source.
