Any ideas why QJackCtl doesn't seem to know what's trying to connect
through it?
only few things I can think of:
- Jackd is running as a different user
- Jackd is not running as the "default" server
(or Qtractor is set for something else)
- jackd or Qtracktor is running as "sandboxed" application
(sandboxed, like snap or flatpack)
Things to check anyway
Could be a sample format mismatch, like interpreting a stereo track as
mono. That would likely already occur on import to Qtractor. When
recording new tracks within Qtractor, do they sound similarly distorted?
