No, that version is a year and a half old. The latest
is 0.99. See

The latest in the Gentoo repository is 0.78-r5.
To be honest,
I always denied to learn about PAM; upgrading it is
simple, but I fear that after upgrading the system will behave
strange (e.g. no login at all :) .
Am I a chicken? Yes, looks like :) .
Can you file a Gentoo bug report asking them to fully support the
RTPRIO rlimit?
