[linux-audio-user] Changing ALSA card order / SBLive synth not working

Hi, I've got two sound cards, a SoundBlaster Live 5.1 and an M-Audio Delta Audiophile 2496. The Audiophile was detected as the first card by my system (Ubuntu Breezy, kernel 2.6.12), and I managed to change that by adding options snd-emu10k1 index=0 options snd-ice1712 index=1 to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base. But now the SBLive's Midi synth doesn't work anymore. The snd-emu10k1-synth module is loaded, and aplaymidi -l does show the Emu10k1 Midi devices, however the synth's mixer channels are missing in alsamixer -c 0, and I can't hear anything. Are there any other options I have to pass to the kernel modules? snd-emu10k1-synth doesn't seem to have an 'index' option. Thanks, Dominic
