Earlier this year I had ripped an audio stream to .wav, but since it was 5.4gb,
lame did not even notice it.
An WAV file larger than 4Gig is malformed. WAV files store the audio
chunk length in an unsigned 32 bit integer (4 Gg max) and hence any
file bigger than that will have screwed up chunk lengths.
