That ought to mean something in the persona of the performer, I should
think.
Many of the large-diaphragm condenser mics have a "stealth flattery"
frequency response, which is mostly the "presence peak" centered at
around 7 kHz, if I understand it correctly. Although it's more of a
gentle undulation than a peak.
