So in other words, nobody, myself included, thinks SCSI is necessary for this type of
workstation nowadays.
Some benchmarks I've seen recently (sorry, no refernce, it was linked off
slashdot IIRC) even suggest that IDE is better for these cases, because
its optimised for workstation use, not server.
