This raises the question of why Behringer would bother to develop their
own protocol. Seems like it would be way cheaper to just make the
device class compliant.
Because some versions of Microsoft's 'class compliant' USB audio
driver blow up when confronted with such unusual things as
multichannel devices, MIDI, or USB 2.0.
