..attached. MCE seems impossible to disable..although maybe this is dependent on some
other checkbox somewhere else. is there an option somewhere for writing a dump to disk
(maybe in /boot) on kernel panic?
the nature of the auto-reboot reminds me of kernels compiled for ppc G5 and running on
G3, or PIII running on a P60mhz..
