I have a Edirol UA-25 and it works very well. Mine has
an annoying
hiss for the first ten-twenty minutes since it has been turned on. It
is some internal component (a condenser?) resonating and it's not
related to Linux.
But it is fully compatible with alsa.
I can confirm this.
