I have built a 2.6.15 kernel (with the latest
Ingo Molnar's RT patch) and
when I boot on it, my USB soundcard fails to play. It is playing OK with
the 2.6.11 kernel shipped with Fedora Core 4. The device is obviously
loaded,
since aplay finds it, but when playing there is
no sound whatsoever.
Any suggestions?
USB audio is broken in 2.6.15. It will be fixed in the next 2.6.15.x
release. In the meantime you can install ALSA CVS.
