Hi there,
I asked some companies to support jacklab with hardware for testing
and probing... now m-audio lend me a nvr10 which is a firewire audio
mixer -a cool device I think. My expectation was - plug and mix.
("reported to work" on the ffado website)
I never used an fw audio device before on Linux - and have no idea how
to get it work. gscanbus say there is an error by reading the bus...
Yes I know qjackctl -I think the prob is much deeper -or I'm blind to
find the easiest way?
Any hints?
Answering myself:
Use JAD (openSUSE) then you have the OOTB experience. First I've tested
with 64studio, but it didn't work for unknown reasons, surly my mistake.
3ms with Freebob/JACK, thx to FFADO for supporting the poor
sound devices industry ;)
It would be nice if you could use the channel you seem to have
established with m-audio to help the FFADO project. We don't seem to be
able to get to the right people. As a result there is not a single
M-Audio device that is supported by FFADO.
