thanks for your answers, but I need to teech sequencing, therefore I
need to use something sighted pupils can use as well, and it should be a
"typical" sequencer. I actually use Lilypond for writing notation.

I don't know if this suits you or not, but I know of ABC notation, and
the free abcMIDI which runs on Linux. ABC is a format for notating
music using text. I don't know much about it, but it appears to be
very simple to learn, and you would be able to create and edit all of
the necessary files with a regular text editor.
