Hi
Did you try
ld10k1 -t 8
this should give you max tram size. Yu can check actual tram size in
/proc file - there is hex size in samples (1024 Mega is maximum)
In alsa emu10k1 driver was bug in setting TRAM size.
Previous -t 7 means 1024 M samples - now it means 512 M samples.
This was fixed in 1.0.8 or litle sooner - I don't know exactly.
Good point .... because i was the same error starting ld10k1 with -t 7 or with
-t 8, maybe my old sblive has only 512 M samples only? Anyway sometimes
seems the TRAM is not completly cleared when I use lo10k1 -s and i need to
kill and restart ld10k1 then loads the patches perfect ... I really dont know
was happen :(
cat /proc/asound/version
Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.8 (Thu Jan 13 09:39:32
2005 UTC).
Card : Creative
Internal TRAM (words) : 0x2000
External TRAM (words) : 0x200000
Thank you Peter :)
