Sure! How else could one record, overdub, or punch in a new track?
When I push play the Audio from an unrecorded track
mutes and only comes
back when I start recording, this is sort of frustrating when trying to make
a Punch in with musicians that prefer to hear them self and not the track
already recorded...
What's your setting of the "Auto Input" button?
Mine is set "on" (lit green).

I had no succes finding such an option so what I'm
doing now is doing thew
monitoring with the rme HDSP mixer...
