I'm trying to set up a fairly minimal system
as a dedicated Digital Organ.
Several have mentioned avoiding systemd and pulseaudio.
Ubuntu is based on debian and devuan(*1) is debian without
systemd. So deuvan might be an easy way to go. FWIW grandorgue
installed fine in in my devuan daedalus (bookworm) system.
Produced good sound through the ALSA device. I didn't test it
under jack.
