It's two very different things really:
Emulation of natural reverb can be compared to generating
drum or percussion sounds electronically or by software.
Which is quitea different from adding such sounds to music
that doesn't have them, usually for good reasons.
I know a lot of natural rooms that give a much
more beautiful
reverberation than any digital allpass network can generate. ;)
So do I, and I usually also prefer real percussion over
its synthesised version.
I always prefer real percussion over synthesized. Humans don't usually
play music in rigid lock-step tempos, but with subtle changes as they go
along that help produce the total effect of the music.
