and some of the sounds their organist was getting from his Lowrey organ
suggested it had some kind of capability along those lines. I have no

Hmmm, hadn't run into that. I read the
Wikipedia article about it. The
three forms of aftertouch they mention don't seem to include my idea of
directional movement while holding the key down.
IIRC, Herbie Hancock played such a beast in the late 70's or early 80s.
