that has been tried. Might be worth going for the
linux-lowlatency-lts-vivid package, which will get 3.19.0-49. A
closer match.
The system runs 3.13.0-24-generic (Linux Mint 17 original). The
software management tool shows a same lowlatency kernel, so that's OK.
