Hi,
I started recently with playing together with a little jazz combo;
piano, saxophone, voice, bass. We record it sometimes with a H2.

with Ardour?
I've been recording live shows using an H2.

I use Ardour to split them up into individual tracks. On some I have used
JAMIN to do compression and EQ, as necessary.
When you say this, you mean that you use ardour to separate the recording into
multiple songs (tracks) time wise and not to somehow break the various
instruments out into a multitrack recording with different instruments on
different tracks right.
I only say this in case someone might think multitrack on first reading.
I do pretty much the same thing with a band and an H4.
